Details

The coat to own if you only own one. Single-breasted, notch lapel, mid-long — the overcoat pattern that has not needed changing in a hundred years, because there is nothing on it to go out of date.

Fabric
A wool blend. Wool is what gives a coat its drape and its warmth-for-weight; the blend is what keeps it from bagging at the elbow and makes it survive being worn every day rather than twice a season.

Build
Single-breasted button front, notch lapel, side pockets that take a pair of gloves. Longline, cut to fall clean from the shoulder.

Fit
Tailored, with room to go over a jacket. Sized M through 3XL. True to size over a knit; size up if you intend to wear it over a suit jacket regularly.

Four: Camel, Grey, Black and Navy.

Care
Follow the label in the garment — wool blends are usually dry clean. Between cleans, brush it down and let it rest a day between wears; wool recovers its shape if you give it the time.

How to measure

Chest: Around the fullest part, under the arms, with the tape level across the back and your arms down. Do not puff your chest out — measure the body you have on a normal day.
Waist: Around your natural waist, above the hip bone. Breathe out normally and keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Sleeve: From the centre back of your neck, across the shoulder, down to the wrist bone with the arm slightly bent.
Between sizes: Size down for a closer line through the chest, up if you plan to layer something underneath.

What if it does not fit?

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Email support@vanguarda.com with your order number and we send the instructions. Items should be in the condition you received them.

How do the quantity discounts work?

They apply on their own at checkout - no code. Two pieces take 15% off, three take 25%, and it keeps climbing to 45%. Mix any products you like; the discount reads the total number of pieces in the bag.

Is checkout secure?
